My Favorites: Best of Something Somewhere, 2016-2017

It's been more than a year now, I went into photography and launched my photography blog, Something Somewhere. I got a Semi-DSLR camera, Canon Powershot SX530 HS, from my father just before our Old Silk Route trip in Sikkim and from then it has been my companion in travels.

Well, today through this blog post I'm going to present few of my favorites from the storehouse of photographs I took in the past one year. It has been a great journey for me. I learned a lot. I explored surroundings, travelled places with a different mindset, a mindset to freeze moments into a visually self-expressing frame. My perspective was straight, I tried to draw a line intersecting reality, art and mysterious beauty of nature.

If I can manage time in the upcoming years then I will try to continue to host this showcase of my favorite photographs I took in a year.

If you like my work, feel free to share this post on your social circles. Feedback in the comments are highly welcomed, they help me to grow. :)

Just like candles, your life needs an igniter to lighten up. And the igniter is you..

I was on the roof of a four-storey building from where I saw a little girl giving life to diyas, organized beautifully way down on the streets. Full 50x zoom helped me to take this shot!!
